Introduction:
The Stamford train station has more trains than any other station on the New Haven line.. but what about the other two stations and is there parking available? I'll give you a few tips so you can decide which is the best station for your needs.
Welcome, if you're new to the site my name is Charlie Vinci, I'm a local realtor and if you haven't already been here, you may want to check out the rest of our pages. We have tons of resources on the area that will help you make a great buying decision. Let's get right into it.
Train Stations:
You have two unique options with both the Glenbrook and Springdale stations being located in affordable neighborhoods with plenty of walk to train homes nearby.
If you want to avoid the parking issue altogether I'll leave you with this link of constantly updated homes for sale within walking distance to any of the Stamford train station.
So what's the catch with these two stations? Well… there are two:
- There's daily parking at each of the stations but it's limited so you'll need to get there early to get a spot
- Second some of the trains have a transfer at the main Stamford station which would add time to your commute
If you can walk to the train or get a long term parking pass at one of these stations and avoid the trains that require a transfer you easily have one of the best values in Connecticut commuter real estate.
So what about the main Stamford station? Well, I have good news for you: trains and parking are plentiful at the Stamford station and you can be in Grand Central in about fifty minutes.
If you're looking for the best parking garages, parking permit information, homes walkable to each station, and more information on each of the stations I'll keep all that information up to date on my website here.
Wrap-Up:
If you are still exploring, check out my website where you will find my raved about local buyers guide, and all of the homes listed for sale in Stamford CT.
I hope you enjoyed this tour as much as I enjoyed making it for you. When you are ready to start shopping, call me, I’ll help you find a great home.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Best,
Stamford CT Realtor
